this filthy club really does sicken me.
they want north melbpourne to wear there away jumper at the game NTH MELB v COLL and they say they should be wearing there own home jumper due to a clash.
they make me so sick

It is not a club issue, just shows how weak the AFL is ..the AFL runs the competition not the clubs.just look how uneven the draw is, if it was a fair comp every club should play each other twice, not to gain the all mighty dollar

An enormous performance by the Magpies,they made the Cats look like a very ordinary side,It shows just how a Young side with run and pace can blow a so called Super side out of the water when they get a bit of momentum.

As much as this is really really going to hurt, Collingwood where awesome on friday night (that did hurt). And this will hurt too, I wish my team would show half the endeavour that the pies did. There pressure on geelong when they had the ball was enourmous.

Blues devour Pies

June 15, 2008 CARLTON are in the AFL's top eight after another Brendan Fevola-inspired performance beat arch rival Collingwood by 30 points at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The Blues trailed by 25 points during the third quarter, yet kicked five goals to draw level at the final change.
Fevola then turned show stopper and finished with eight goals in the 17.17 (119) to 12.17 (89) victory, played before a massive crowd of 80,310.
Even though Collingwood kicked the opening goal of the final quarter, the Blues stormed home to win comfortably.
Fevola put Carlton in front early in the last quarter when he somehow got boot to ball, as he and opponent Nathan Brown lay in the goal square, and popped it through in front of the Collingwood cheer squad.
He put them in front again with a goal from a mark and then made the game safe by grabbing the ball off the ground and goaling after Harry O'Brien ran off without the ball.
Fevola's eighth goal, after the final siren and from outside 50 metres, capped a remarkable day amid a superb season, in which he now has 50 majors.
In an epic game between the two rivals chock full of umpiring controversies, Fevola's seventh goal came after Collingwood's Paul Medhurst was denied a major when deemed to have pushed his opponent in the back.
Fevola's goal put Carlton 13 points up.
He again proved too much for Collingwood to handle after being wayward early - he booted 2.4 in the first half - just as he was in round four, when his seven-goal haul was the difference between the sides.
But this win will rank even sweeter for Carlton, as they are in the top half of the ladder for only the third time since the 2001 season.
The Blues, who were also briefly in the eight during the 2004, and 2006 seasons, replaced North Melbourne.
After a tight first half yielding just eight goals in all, the Blues ran right away with the match by kicking 14 goals to seven after the main break.
Young midfielder Marc Murphy was outstanding throughout, captain Chris Judd broke Rhyce Shaw's tag to play a major part in the final quarter and Heath Scotland kicked two goals against his old side in his 150th game.
Medhurst booted four goals for the Magpies, Dane Swan was industrious in the midfield and Shaw did well on Judd for the first half, but Collingwood were well off the form which took them to four successive wins before today.
The result also soured Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse's milestone, as he moved to third on the table of the most games coached in VFL/AFL history.
The game was marred by some poor umpiring decisions, none worse than umpire Justin Schmitt's decision to give Carlton's Brad Fisher a kick in the goal square in the third quarter despite almost no contact, which resulted in the easiest of goals.
But Swan also booted an easy goal, in the second quarter, when Schmitt plucked out a free kick from a pack.
The match also had plenty of feeling, as there was constant pushing and shoving between both sides.
A tangle between Swan and Shaun Grigg resulted in Fevola being awarded a 50-metre penalty early, and Fevola later bowled over Alan Didak after Carlton's Bret Thornton kicked a goal.
The match review panel is also likely to scrutinise an off-the-ball clash between Collingwood's Ben Johnson and Carlton's Cameron Cloke, which left the big Blue on the ground.
